John Lundeby, MD, FACS
Dr. John Lundeby is a General Surgeon who currently owns and operates Shape Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa in Spokane, Washington. Shape is a full service Cosmetic Surgery and Day Spa facility that is continuing to double in size annually. He is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Lundeby is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American College of Phlebology. His practice is now devoted almost entirely to laser and cosmetic medicine and surgery.
Dr. Lundeby travels nationally and offers extensive medical training (including CME credit) as well as business consulting services. Special professional interests include laser body sculpting, the use of lasers to enhance beauty and skin health, and teaching laser medicine and surgery to others. SHAPE is a national training center for Smartlipo™, as well as Botox™ and aesthetic fillers. SHAPE Cosmetic Surgery is a leader in the industry offering the exclusive trademarks of: LaserAug™, LaserBleph™ and LaserPlasty™.
Dr. Lundeby is a Certified Laser Trainer and always happy to answer questions for patients or other professionals.
Kelly Smith, CFO & Co-Owner
Kelly has over 15 years experience as a business owner and business consultant. After graduating from the University of Washington she owned and operated a Full Service Spa in Spokane, Washington. Kelly specializes in start up businesses and rapid growth as well as acquisitions strategies and "turn-arounds".
After joining Dr. Lundeby and his practice as the CFO and Co-Owner of Projected Growth Consulting, she tripled volume and opened a second location within 16 months. SHAPE Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa is the largest Smartlipo provider in the Northwest and has newly added the following trademarked services: LaserAug™, LaserBleph™, LaserPlasty™.
As a leader and teacher in the cosmetic procedure industry, Shape Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa is the only full cosmetic surgery and med spa in the inland NW. As a Top Tier Allergan provider we offer CME Liquid Lift Classes and specialize in growing injectable practices rapidly. SHAPE Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa continues to grow at a rate of 75% per annum.
Kelly's management and consulting approach uses proactive measurement tools and consultative sales style. This combination gives the balance and direction for medical spas to reach their full potential. Her typical new accounts experience 10-27% growth in revenue within the first quarter of working with her and Projected Growth Consulting. Her goal is to teach and implement tools and systems so that practices can maintain the goal performance independently after finishing the Projected Growth Consulting Program, and many happy clients are doing just that!
Cortney Thomas, Operations Specialist
Cortney is the Director of Operations for SHAPE Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa and Business Consultant for Projected Growth Consulting. Prior to joining SHAPE and PGC, Cortney has spent over a decade in the industry of Cosmetic, Salon and Retail Businesses. Her key roles include overseeing Operations on weekly basis, Hiring and Recruiting, Measuring Employee Performance, Outside Sales, Business Consulting, Assisting the CEO in Marketing, financials, strategic alliance development and account management. Cortney has created many actionable client growth strategies and consults at the executive level to help companies improve revenue.
